Cheerleading World Championships in Takasaki: Japan also outstanding on Sunday
The Cheerleading World Championships are over. For two days, teams from 28 nations fought and danced with expressive and heartfelt action in the Takasaki Arena in Japan with action, charm and great choreography in cheer dancing and cheerleading for medals.
On the second day of the competition, the impression of the opening day on Saturday was confirmed: the host from the land of the rising sun was hard to beat at home, especially in the cheerleading. A total of 10 medals in 13 decisions went to Japan, 5 of them gold.
In addition to the hosts especially the participants from Thailand, the Philippines and Russia impressed.
A total of nine nations were decorated with precious metal at the ninth edition of the World Championships.
Even if many participating countries ran out empty - at the end, all were winners, because each athlete was part of an impressive event and had - with much esprit - a large share in the great success of the World Games.
See you at the next Cheerleading World Championship!
