In front of a spectacular crowd of 1.950 spectators the Papa Joe’s Tyrolean Raiders made it the first time in team history to the EFAF Cup Final.

The Papa Joe’ Tyrolean Raiders had a perfect start, Running Back Florian Grein scored on the first two possessions with two long runs.

In the second quarter the second Raiders Runnig Back Wade Smith had a 57 yard TD run which lead to a 21:0 lead. Shortly before halftime Renegades Running Back M. Speicher scored on a 6 yard run and capped the score to 21:6 at halftime.

In the third quarter the Raiders strong running game dominated the game, first Raiders Running Back Wade Smith scored on a 3 yard run, then Florian Grein scored his third TD putting the score to 35:6.

In the fourth quarter the dominant Renegades Running Back Urs Gersbach (18 carries for 138 Yards) scored on two long runs and his teammate R. Werner put another TD on the scoreboard. In that quarter Raiders TE Victor Skradski caught a 15 Yard TD pass from Robbie Jenkins and Raiders Running Back Florian Grein scored his fourth TD of the game which made him game MVP (249 total yards, 4 TDs)

Biggest success in Raiders history
Raiders Manager Daniel Dieplinger after the game: „This is the biggest success in the 11 year old history of Raiders football. We made it to the EFAF Cup final and on top of that we will host it in the new Tivoli Stadium on Saturday, June 14th (KO 19.30h). I am really proud of the team and we are all very excited about the final.”
